Who we are

Hello Sourcing is operated by Talent Gateway Pty Ltd, an Australian company working between Sydney, Australia and Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" refer to Talent Gateway Pty Ltd trading as Hello Sourcing.

We are committed to handling personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

What we collect

When you submit a product enquiry or contact us, we may collect your name, business name, work email address, phone number, website, delivery postcode, and details about the products you buy — including photographs, drawings, specifications, current pricing, quantities and current supply arrangements.

If you visit our website, we may also collect standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type and pages visited, through ordinary server logs and any analytics tools we use.

Why we collect it

We use this information to assess your product enquiry, prepare sourcing recommendations, communicate with you, and — if you engage us — to deliver sourcing, verification, negotiation and production management services.

We may also use your contact details to respond to questions, provide quotes for our services, and meet our legal, accounting and record-keeping obligations.

Who we share it with

To do our job, we share relevant product information — such as specifications, drawings and target quantities — with Vietnamese manufacturers and other suppliers so they can provide quotations. We do not sell your personal information to anyone.

Where possible, we share product details without identifying your business until there is a genuine reason to do so. We may also share information with professional advisers (such as accountants or lawyers), freight and inspection providers involved in your project, and government bodies where the law requires it.

Overseas disclosure

Because our work happens in Vietnam, your information will be disclosed to recipients in Vietnam, including manufacturers and our own team members based there. By submitting an enquiry, you understand that overseas recipients may not be subject to Australian privacy law, though we take reasonable steps to work with reputable parties and limit what we share.

Storage and security

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. Information is stored using reputable cloud and email providers, and access is limited to people who need it for your enquiry or engagement.

We keep information only for as long as we need it for the purposes above, or as required by law, and then take reasonable steps to destroy or de-identify it.

Access and correction

You can ask us for access to the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate, by contacting us using the details below. We will respond within a reasonable time.

Complaints

If you believe we have breached your privacy, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
