Who we are

These terms apply to services provided by Talent Gateway Pty Ltd trading as Hello Sourcing ("we", "us", "our") to our clients ("you"). By engaging us, requesting a quotation for our services, or using this website, you accept these terms.

What we do — and what we don't

Hello Sourcing is a sourcing and production management service. We identify and assess Vietnamese manufacturers, obtain and compare quotations, verify shortlisted suppliers, negotiate commercial terms, coordinate samples, and — where engaged — manage production communication, milestones and quality-control coordination.

We are not the manufacturer. We do not make, sell, import or take title to any products. Unless agreed otherwise in writing, your contract for the manufacture and supply of products is directly with the manufacturer, and you pay the manufacturer directly.

We are not a freight forwarder, customs broker, insurer, laboratory or law firm. Freight, customs, duties, testing, certification and legal advice are third-party matters that remain your responsibility, even where we help coordinate them.

Fees and payment

Our sourcing engagement fee is A$2,800 plus GST, which covers the sourcing services described on our website or in your proposal. Production management, where engaged, is charged at 6% of the manufacturer's purchase order value, with a minimum of A$1,500 plus GST per production order.

Third-party costs — including samples, courier charges, laboratory testing, specialist inspections, certifications and travel outside our standard service area — are additional and payable by you where required. We will tell you before incurring material third-party costs on your behalf.

Invoices are payable within 14 days unless otherwise agreed in writing. We may pause work while invoices remain unpaid.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for giving us accurate product information, specifications, drawings and quantities, and for telling us about any regulatory, safety or compliance requirements that apply to your product in Australia or any other market.

Decisions about whether to proceed with a manufacturer, place an order, or accept production are yours. We provide information, assessment and coordination to help you make those decisions; the commercial risk of manufacturing remains with you.

No guaranteed outcomes

Sourcing involves independent manufacturers, changing input costs, exchange rates, freight markets and production schedules. We do not guarantee that a suitable manufacturer will be found, that any particular saving will be achieved, or that a manufacturer will perform. We commit to doing the work carefully and honestly, and to telling you plainly what we find.

Confidentiality and your product information

We treat your product information, pricing and business details as confidential and share them with manufacturers and suppliers only as needed to obtain quotations and deliver our services. Where you require it, we can arrange confidentiality or non-disclosure agreements with manufacturers, though enforcement in overseas jurisdictions can be uncertain and is ultimately a legal matter.

Intellectual property

You confirm that any designs, drawings, branding or specifications you give us are yours to share and do not infringe anyone else's rights. You are responsible for protecting your intellectual property in relevant markets before disclosing it to manufacturers.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, or loss arising from the acts or omissions of manufacturers, freight providers, customs authorities or other third parties. Our aggregate liability arising from our services is limited to the fees you have paid us for the relevant engagement.

Nothing in these terms excludes rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Ending an engagement

Either of us can end an engagement with written notice. Fees for work completed up to that point, and committed third-party costs, remain payable.

General

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest continues to apply. We may update these terms from time to time; the current version will be published on this page.
